The park is celebrated for its large congregations of elephants along the riverbanks and is home to giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, coexisting with a variety of predators including lions and leopards. For bird lovers, Tarangire is a haven, boasting the highest number of breeding bird species globally. Descending into the crater, you'll be greeted by vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles, amidst an incredible diversity of over 500 bird species.
