DAY 1, LIMA- Upon your arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport, Lima (LAP), collect your luggage and complete the customs procedures. Conveniently located just across the street from the airport, awaits the Wyndham Costa del Sol Hotel. Here, you can take a well-deserved rest, recharging your energy for the exciting days ahead.

DAY 2, FLY TO PUERTO MALDONADO, TRANSFER TO AMAZON LODGE- Starting from Lima, your journey will take you to Puerto Maldonado airport, where you'll continue to the river port situated along the Madre de Dios River. From there, an exhilarating boat ride awaits, as you glide down the Madre de Dios River by motor canoe, guiding you to the trail's end at the remarkable Sandoval Lake Lodge.

Once you arrive at the lodge, prepare for a 2-mile trek through the lush forest terrain, leading you to the canal boats. Board the boats and paddle through a captivating flooded forest, surrounded by majestic 100-foot tall Mauritia palms, covering a distance of 220 yards. As the flooded area opens up to a serene river, you'll transfer to a catamaran, continuing your adventure.

Following a satisfying lunch and a well-deserved rest to avoid the early afternoon heat, it's time to return to the catamaran. Explore the entire west end of the lake, where you'll witness a mesmerizing spectacle of hundreds of Red-Bellied Macaws returning to the palm forest to spend the night.

As nightfall descends, make your way back to the lodge for a delightful dinner. But the excitement doesn't end there; prepare for an adventurous paddle to observe the elusive 'Black Caimans' in their natural habitat. While floating in the middle of the lake, the unparalleled stargazing experience will leave you awestruck, creating unforgettable memories.

DAY 3, EXPLORE THE AMAZON- Embark on an unforgettable adventure with a pre-dawn wake-up call to catch the enchanting sunrise over the lake, when the wildlife stirs to life. After a hearty breakfast back at the base, venture into the cool and serene understory of the majestic virgin forest surrounding the lake. After a hearty breakfast, set out on an enlightening journey with the assistance of our knowledgeable resident naturalist guide. Wander through the rainforest trails and immerse yourself in its vibrant ecosystem as the guide unveils the secrets of this lush paradise, from its diverse flora to its fascinating fauna.

Return to the lodge for a delicious lunch, and for those seeking respite from the midday heat, an optional rest period is available. However, for the more adventurous souls, an opportunity awaits to independently explore some of the forest trails, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day.

DAY 5, FLY TO CUSCO & CUSCO WALKING TOUR-

DAY 8, FREE DAY AT MACCHU PICCHU & RETURN TO CUSCO-

Depending on your preferences and permits, you may choose to hike to the summit of Huayna Picchu, offering incredible panoramic views of the entire area.
