Itinerary

Day 1 Saturday, December 10, 2022
On arrival at Cairo International Airport you will collect your luggage and clear customs. You will be
assisted with the formalities at the airport where you are able to get your visas on arrival.
Once the formalities have been completed your driver will take you to to Ramses Hilton Hotel Cairo

Day 2 Sunday, December 11, 2022
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel you will be met by your driver for a full day private sightseeing
tour. You will visit the Pyramids of Giza
One of the wonders of the ancient world The Pyramids of Giza and The Sphinx, where lay all three of
Giza's famed pyramids and their elaborate burial complexes were built during a frenetic period of
construction, from roughly 2550 to 2490 B.C. The pyramids were built by Pharaohs Khufu (tallest),
Khafre (background), and Menkaure (front), and also visit The Sphinx, a giant mysterious limestone
monument with the body of a lion and a pharaoh's head. The Sphinx may stand sentinel for the
pharaoh's entire tomb complex.
Your driver will then take you to the Grand Egyptian Museum 
Due to open November 2022 and will be the largest archaeological museum in the world. It houses
thousands of artifacts of ancient Egypt, including the complete Tutankhamun collection of which also
many pieces will be displayed for the first time.
Alternatively you can visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities that houses many Pharaonic treasures of
monumentsin case the Grand Egyptian Museum is not opened yet when you travel.
You will then visit The Citadel of Salah El Din One of Cairo's main attractions and probably the most
popular Islamic moment in Cairo, Salah El-Din built it in 1176 AD, it was the place of Egypt’s rulers for
700 years between the 9th and 12th century and Mohammed Ali the founder of modern Egypt was the
last ruler in the citadel, you will also visit the Grand Mosque inside the Citadel named the Alabaster
Mosque of Mohammad Ali.
During your tour you will have a stop for lunch (included in the price) and in the afternoon you can head
back to your hotel or spend some time at your leisure shopping or sightseeing.
In the evening you have free time for dinner and overnight in Cairo.
Day 3 Monday , December 12, 2022
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will check out and be collected and enjoy a private transfer
to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Luxor.
On arrival into Luxor Airport you will be met by your driver and embark on a Private half day sightseeing
tour to visit the East Bank of Luxor.
You will first visit the Karnak Temple, this great national monument of Egypt has no equal. Built around
2055 BC to around 100 AD, It is not a single temple, but temple within temple, shrine within shrine,
where almost all the pharaohs, particularly of the New Kingdom, wished to record their names and
deeds for posterity.

You will then drive on to Sphinxes Avenue which is an avenue of human headed sphinxes of over one
and a half miles (3 km) once connected the temples of Karnak and Luxor.
You will then head to the Luxor Temple which was largely built by the New Kingdom pharaohs
Amenhotep III (1390–1352 BC) and Ramses II (1279–1213 BC), this temple is a strikingly graceful
monument in the heart of the modern town.
After enjoying your private tour you will head to the Sonesta Luxor Hotel for check in. You will have the
rest of the day free at your leisure.
Day 4 Tuesday 13 December 2022
After enjoying breakfast you will be met at your hotel for a West Bank Tour. Your first stop will be Valley
of the Kings.
On the West Bank of the Nile across from modern Luxor, cut into the Theban Hills, lies the Valley of the
Kings (KV
Chosen as the burial-place for most of Egypt’s New Kingdom rulers, there are 64 royal and private
tombs in Valley of the Kings, few tombs have been discovered only in the past hundred years, you will
then visit the Valley of the Queens Where the wives of Pharaohs were buried in ancient times, it was
known then as (Ta-Set-Neferu) meaning "the place of beauty". It was most famous for being the burial
site of wives of Pharaohs themselves were buried in the Valley of the Kings.
You will then head to the Hatshepsut Temple Hatshepsut (c.1473–1458 BC), the queen who became
Pharaoh, built a magnificent temple at Deir al-Bahari, on the west back of Luxor.
Then onwards to The Colossi of Memnon, which is two colossal statues made of quartzite sandstone
each measuring 60 feet tall, stands in the entrance of Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple.

After the tour you will head back to the hotel to freshen up and check out, as your flight is at 1915 I can
arrange a late check out at a small cost, or subject to the hotel’s discretion they may offer free of
charge.
You will then be transferred to Luxor Airport for your one hour flight to Cairo International Airport. On
arrival into Cairo you will transfer to the Sonesta Cairo Hotel.

Day 5 Wednesday, December 14, 2022
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel you will be met and embark on a full day tour.
Your first stop will be the new Museum of Egyptian Civilization
The first of its kind in Egypt presenting the full range of the richness and diversity of Egyptian civilization
throughout the ages, from prehistoric times to the present day by focusing on its continuity and
stability as demonstrated by its tangible and intangible heritage, the museum also houses an
exceptional collection of Royal Mummies.
You will then visit the religious complex of Old Cairo
The Hanging Church (Church of Virgin Mary) is located in Old Cairo, Built on top of the Roman fortress
gatehouse, The Jewish temple, it has all the distinctive Islamic Christian Jewish artful architectural
characters and styles.

Then onwards You will visit the oldest market of the Middle East the Khan ElKHalili Bazaar for
handmade ornaments and handmade gifts, this huge Cairo bazaar located in the center of Islamic Cairo,
the bazaar attracts foreign tourists and Egyptians alike, housing a lot of mini bazaars and traditional
coffee shops.
A stop for lunch is included on this day at a local restaurant.
You will then transfer back to your hotel for some free time and dinner.
Day 6 Thursday 15 December
After enjoying your last breakfast you will be met and transferred to Cairo International Airport for your
onward flight to London Heathrow.
