Itinerary
Day 1
Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred to your accommodation. Interested in experiencing the traditional Lappish way of life? Reindeer, also known as Santa's flying companions, await you! Embark on a snowmobile journey to a local reindeer farm, where, after enjoying a brief reindeer sleigh ride, you will be awarded your very own International Reindeer Driving License.
Day 2
After breakfast at your accommodation, prepare for a morning visit to Santa's Village and a snowmobiling adventure to a reindeer farm. Uncover the mysteries of Santa Claus and his faithful aides! Meet Father Christmas in person, explore Santa's Official Post Office, indulge in some shopping, and relish a delightful lunch. Post-lunch, we set off on snowmobiles to visit a local reindeer farm. Get acquainted with the reindeer, partake in a brief reindeer sleigh ride, experience the special “Crossing of the Arctic Circle” ceremony, and after an enchanting day, we snowmobile back to our starting point before returning to the city by bus. A Crossing the Arctic Circle Certificate will be presented to you as a memento of this safari.
In the evening, experience the POLAR NIGHT – an evening reindeer safari to remember. Following a short car ride to a local reindeer farm, our reindeer adventure begins. Journey through forests in the comfort of a reindeer sleigh, and perhaps the Northern Lights will illuminate the sky in hues of green above us. Post-ride, enjoy a warm cup of coffee with a bun by the campfire.
Day 3
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, get ready for a FAMILY DAY filled with reindeer, huskies, snow fun, and lunch. This day is dedicated to family fun at quaint reindeer and husky farms! Embark on a reindeer sleigh ride, listening to the sounds of nature and stories from the reindeer herder, culminating at a charming husky farm. Capture memorable family photos with our furry friends and enjoy a brief husky sled ride. Our adventure doesn't end here; a delightful lunch awaits us at the restaurant. Afterwards, children and the young at heart can enjoy an afternoon of snow fun, including tobogganing and more, near the Arctic Circle!
In the evening, you will take an overnight train from Rovaniemi to Helsinki. Upon arrival in Helsinki, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. No activities are planned in Helsinki.
Day 4
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day in Helsinki.
Day 5
Following breakfast at your hotel, the morning is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Helsinki Airport for your flight back home.
